Kymi Ring is a brand new racing circuit in Kymenlaakso, located 110 kilometers northeast of the capital Helsinki. It is the first circuit in Finland to hold a FIA Grade One license. The track was officially opened on 19 August 2019 with a small MotoGP test. The main race track designed by Pohjola and Apex is 4.6 km long. In addition, the complex will have a 1.56 km rallycross track. The Kymi Ring covers an area of 1.8 km2 and is the first and only track in the Nordic countries to meet the highest FIA Grade 1 license.
