The Magny-Cours race track is located in a lonely area in the middle of France. The original line was built in 1961 and greatly expanded in 1971 and 1981. The circuit was completely modernized in 1991 to support the region's economy by the French Grand Prix. Magny-Cours consists largely of passages that have been copied from other racing tracks. The track itself is modern, offers ample space and provides pilots with a high level of safety. The asphalt surface is elegant and level.
